How the Growing Automotive Industry in Canada is Affecting Calgary Used Cars Sales

With Canada being the 11th largest automobile producer in the world, few would question why secondary industries such as auto repair and used cars sales would flourish in the country's steadying economy. It is estimated that more than 6 out of 10 Canadians own cars, and through the years many of the cars have been sold to used car dealers or sent to various repair facilities across the different cities and provinces in Canada.

The southern city of Calgary, Alberta is one of the few cities in Canada that holds more car owners than the country itself. Estimates reveal that for every 10 persons living in Calgary, 8 of them are car owners. This makes Calgary an ideal spot for secondary automotive industries such as auto repair shops and used car dealerships to set up business.

As new car models come out each year from different international manufacturers, more people in Calgary are trading in their old but still working vehicles to used car dealers in the city. Calgary used cars sales figures have steadily increased in recent years due to the growth of Canada's automotive industry. While many poeple in Calgary sell their vehicles in order to buy new ones, many still go to Calgary used cars dealerships because of the affordability and practicality that buying used cars offer.
