What To Do During An Earthquake

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of earthquakes accruing. Whether it is because of global warming or the catastrophic 2012 as some people would claim, it is still a good idea to make sure that you are ready for it.

Before an Earthquake
  1. Make sure that you have emergency supplies available including food, first aid kits, and flashlights plus extra batteries.
  2. Identify which parts of your house can be considered as safe spots. These spots should be away from any object that might shatter, fall or fly at you during the earthquake. It should also be able to provide you a sturdy protection against such objects.
  3. Educate your family members on what to do should a major earthquake hit your area.
